How Does Red Light Therapy Work?
Red light therapy (photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light that penetrate the skin and are absorbed by mitochondria in the cells.
This stimulates the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the body’s primary energy molecule, which accelerates cellular repair processes, reduces inflammation, and stimulates collagen synthesis.
