This openly published case report describes an individual who underwent 60 sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO₂) and subsequently measured objective changes in cognitive function, cerebral blood flow (perfusion), physical performance, telomere length, and protein biomarkers. The study showed small improvements in global cognitive function, increases in cerebral perfusion in several areas of the brain, and changes in telomere length and proteomic profile following treatment. The author emphasizes that more participants and controlled studies are needed to confirm and generalize these results.
