The Zeugma Monoplace is the most common choice for home use. It measures 1988 × 1368 × 1858 mm, weighs 750 kg and has an internal volume of 1.9 m³. The hull is built in three modules that pass through a standard doorway, so it can be assembled in a bedroom, home gym, basement or garage. Maximum working pressure is 2.4 ATA and maximum user weight is 225 kg.

The fully automatic operation allows you to easily start a treatment yourself. Select a protocol on the touchscreen, step in, close the door, and the chamber handles the rest — including pressure regulation, oxygen delivery, and ventilation. Internal controls give you full command from inside the chamber.

Panorama: two seats and panoramic windows

If you have the space and want two seats, Panorama is the natural step up. It has the same outer footprint as the Zeugma (1987 × 1344 × 1858 mm) and the same 1.9 m³ internal volume, but adds a second seat, six acrylic panoramic windows and a touchscreen with seven preset protocols and separate user profiles. Working pressure is 2.0 to 2.4 ATA.

Hard-Shell vs Soft-Shell Chambers for Home Use

You may have seen cheap soft-shell chambers sold online for a fraction of the price. Here is why we advise against them:

  • Low pressure: Soft-shell chambers typically reach only 1.3–1.5 ATA, significantly limiting treatment effectiveness
  • No pure oxygen: Most soft-shell chambers cannot deliver 100% oxygen
  • Short lifespan: Seams and materials in soft-shell chambers degrade over time, creating safety risks
  • No automation: You often need to manually monitor pressure and oxygen
  • Unclear origin: Most soft-shell chambers are cheap whitelabel products from China without reliable quality control

A hard-shell chamber costs more up front, but it delivers real pressure capability, is built to ASME PVHO and PED standards, is CE marked, and carries multiple independent safety systems. That is the difference you are paying for.

What Is Required for Home Installation?

Space

A Zeugma Monoplace needs a minimum installation floor area of 5500 × 2800 mm according to the manufacturer, which includes room for the compressor, oxygen concentrator and cooling unit. Panorama has practically the same outer dimensions, so plan for the same room. Ceiling height must clear 1858 mm plus service space above the chamber.

Power and Ventilation

The chamber itself is not the load. The plant around it is: a 4 hp air compressor, one 2500 W oxygen concentrator per seat, an air cooler with 1500 W cooling capacity (roughly 208 W electrical draw) and a refrigerated air dryer. For a single-seat Zeugma, plan for roughly 6 kW of connected load. This is a job for a qualified electrician, not a standard wall socket.
